MAeHC - Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative.

Other Communities

MAeHC is equally as thrilled that 35 communities responded to the request for applications with a level of sophistication, energy, and commitment that should be an inspiration to us all. The overwhelming response is a call to action for all of us to learn and share as much as possible as quickly as possible. The goal of the MAeHC is to have universal adoption of electronic medical records in all clinical settings, and a state-wide health information network for secure transmission of treatment-related clinical information among health care professionals.

MAeHC is committed to assisting any Massachusetts community which is already planning or would like to plan programs that would help achieve this vision. We are currently constructing a program to extend some of the services developed for the pilot projects to any community in the Commonwealth. Regardless of whether or not you represent a community that applied to be part of our pilot project, we invite your community to participate in this effort and we welcome your input. This part of the site will be used to share information, lessons learned and expertise with those other Massachusetts communities that are seeking to implement electronic medical record systems. MAeHC is committed to provide this support in an effort to help get these vital technologies into the hands of the health care professionals throughout the Commonwealth.
